This photograph is my favorite photograph from this artist. When I first looked at it I didn't know exactly what is was a photograph of so I had to look more closely and then I discovered that it was a photograph of the clouds and sky reflected in the lake water. I absolutely LOVE the reflections in this photo, it looks completely unreal. I also like that the water has a little bit of an interesting feature to it with the grass that is coming out of the water. This makes it a little bit more confusing at first but then you realize how much it adds to the photo.
Richard Misrach inspires me with his love of colors. He focuses mainly on desert landscapes, capturing the beauty that no one takes the chance to notice. Richards works focuses on mans involvement in the desert and also the beauty provided by nature itself.
